We have celebrated Leighton turning 2 with 3 full birthday parties, one school party and one home celebration. I kid you not.
Party 1 was at Meme's house with the cousins from Dad's side of the family:

On her actual birthday, she had school so there was a cupcake celebration at school, plus and little cake with Mom and Dad at home:
Funny story here. I only gave her a small piece of cake because she had JUST had a cupcake at school. She was reaching for more cake and I told her no, you've had enough. She loudly replied, "I'm not done! I'm not done!" Haha, she got a little more cake;) That night Maw Maw and I ordered her favorite Chinese for dinner in.
Her party here was at a kids gym she loves. They visit her school once a month and we've done playdates there before. She had such a good time with her friends.
And the final party was at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's with her cousin's on Mom's side. Lots of playing, especially with the bubbles! And more cake of course;)
Well, last year I said we would cut down on parties b/c she had 2. I said that was just b/c it was her first bday and we wouldn't do that again. Well, this year she had 3 plus school, so I guess I lost that battle! Wish me luck for next year!
