Top 2 Tuesday...Books!

Taylor's Top 2 Tuesday topic is books.

Oh, my! How do I choose??

I read super random variety - cheesy, inspirational, classic...so I'm going to pick 2 from 2 different categories and do an honorable mention. B/c that's how I roll....

1. Denise Jackson's It's All About Him: Finding the Love of My Life (and no, the "Him" is not Alan!).

This memoir is so special. It really shows an example of how God can use our lowest points and biggest struggles to teach us how to trust in and rely on Him.

2. Margaret Mitchell's Gone With the Wind (like I really needed to include the author!!)

To be perfectly honest, I probably could not get through reading this book again now b/c of the racial climate in it. But I have read it at least 10 times throughout high school and college. I am SUCH a Scarlett!!

Honorable Mention: Twilight

Talk about romantic. Nothing like wanting what you can't have to up the drama factor - and I do enjoy the drama factor.

Hmmm, all the star-crossed love on this page makes me think I need to pick new reading material...;-) Have a great week!

I'm struggling through Gone with the Wind now...I'm about 100 pages into it where they're at the BBQ and Scarlett is trying to get Ashley's attention, it's right where the introduce Rhett. Is it going to pick up the pace soon? I'm dying!

Well, it's not for everyone, but in my opinion the introduction of Rhett changes everything:)
