Baby Shower 2

This weekend we had a baby shower in Bill's hometown. His mom, sisters and our family friend, Dusty, did such a great job!

It was a vintage baseball theme (think A League of Their Own) and was sooo cute! The kids even watched the movie in between games and gifts.

So many cute pictures, so I won't write too much, but it was wonderful and I'm so thankful to all who were involved and came. Bill and I are so blessed to have you all.

 I sat at home plate:)

It was also the "hot momma" chair, lol

Baby Shower Time!

This past weekend was bombard Holly with baby gear weekend - and it was awesome.

I'm not going to write much (b/c there are so many pictures), but it was great and I am so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. From baby's first diamonds to safety basics, this kid is stocked! Thanks to all who came, helped and/or gave to Bill and I. We are overwhelmed with your enthusiasm for our baby girl:)

I think this is the only picture we got of Maw Maw Liz the whole time. She was watching John Wyatt (aka The Tank) while his mommy took the  pictures;-)

This Weekend...

In between homework and headaches (what is up with those???), I actually left the house a couple times!

Wednesday started Bill's member-guest tournament, so Bobby stayed with us Wednesday-Sunday. It's kinda weird, when Bobby's here it's just like normal. Like he's just always here and nothing is different. And he only comes for those few days every year!

Anyway, the guys kept busy with golf and night functions, but I no longer have the energy to go out on a school night.

Friday, Christa, Wes and Braylee stopped by on their way to Florida. We went to dinner, but I didn't get any pics.

Saturday we had the awards banquet for the tournament. The guys got 1st in their flight and 2nd overall in the playoff. The team that beat them did so with a "once in a lifetime" putt, so Bill was totally ok with it.

After dinner, we went to the proshop to spend the credit they won. Bobby got a new golf wardrobe, Bill bought me a sweet new pair of sunglasses - they were MUCH needed. I'm sure he'll spend the rest on golf balls (as needed!).

Sunday we had a food shower for Fawn and Jude and Aunt Corma's. Liam should be arriving any day now, so we wanted to make sure Seamus had dinner ready while his parents juggled having a new baby:)

Me and Baby H, ready to go

She got a couple relaxing gifts, too:)
Seamus, of course, stole the show, but Angel is well on her way to giving him a run for his money:)

So today it was back to a CRAZY busy day at work and night class. Here's hoping I sleep better tonight that last night!

Busy, Busy Weekend

We had such a busy weekend!

Friday night we had big plans for date night. If you know us at all, you know how hard it is for us to leave the house on Friday nights.

We grabbed Subway and rented a movie, lol. It was The Blind Side.

Yes, we are the last house hold in America to have seen it. We're behind.

But, it was awesome! Bill wanted to watch it twice. No dice, Buddy! I's gots to get my beauty sleep.

Saturday Jen had a Southern Living at Home brunch.

Make mimosas, and I will come.

Cathy, Jen and I.
While taking this picture we briefly discussed a Puerto Vallarta repeat. Will keep you posted;-)

Too much fun was had, too much money was spent. I will be hosting one at my house in June. Be there.

Saturday night we headed to The Woodlands to watch my godchild, Sage, kick some major ass in AAU tournament. Kid scored 16 points in one game. I heart him.

We also spent sometime with Kallie, one of my other godchildren (and Sage's niece). I heart her, too:)

How funny is she? Treating me like a recliner...haha

Sunday was the long-anticipated baby shower for Robin. Such a good time. Pasta, wine and dessert. I was in heaven:)

Cake table - delicious!!

Robin looks fabulous and London is growing like a weed! Missy is going to make the BEST big sister!

Hope you all had a great weekend! My semester of grad school is officially over. My house is clean! Yea!! Hoping for more of that!

Have a great week!
